The 2nd Annual One Act Competition and
Dessert Auction
DTC's 2nd Annual One-Act Competition and Dessert Auction is This
Saturday, March 29th at 7:00pm at West County Assembly of God in
Chesterfield. Ten Plays! More than 20 Actors! Your
Vote Counts!
We are very excited about the plays in this years One Act Competition.
We've got classics in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and a
spoof on "Cyrano De Bergerac"; classic comedy in Abbott and Costello's
"Who's On First," plays for the kids in "Children of the Calendar," "The
Book Hospital," and "What Happened to the Cakes;" an original script by
Brad Lafferty entitled "The Bridge;" and theme based in "The Red Tie
Club," "The God Who Is Always There," and "Fathers and Sons."
The performers and directors have been working hard to get the plays
ready for you, our audience, and WE ARE READY! |
New This Year! Silent Auctions!
New this year, at the One Act Competition, we are featuring four
silent auction baskets. We will have a baking basket including
baking and cooking utensils and baking mixes; a live theatre basket
including show posters from the Shakespeare Festival of St.
Louis, two tickets to DTC's A Christmas Carol,
two 2008-2009 DTC Season Tickets and a DTC
T-Shirt; a family devotional basket featuring devotionals for
kids and adults; and our Family Fun Night basket including games,
puzzles and 4 tickets to see the St. Louis Blues!
Come prepared to bid on these baskets in addition to the desserts
auctioned between the play performances. |

Donors receive discounted tickets for all performances for one year
after making a donation.
Advertising rates are reasonable for program, e-newsletter and
web-based advertising.
Sponsors receive prominent program AND web-based advertisements as well
as complimentary and discounted tickets for productions.
