March 2009 This Year's One Act Plays The Taunter's Defeat Description of the Play: Middle school girls face immense amounts of peer pressure from older girls to conform in looks and behavior, behavior that is often immoral. Three girls find that by banding together and focusing on God's Word they are able to resist this peer pressure and stay true to their values. Description of the Characters and the cast: Three younger girls, about 11 or 12. (Early middle school age) --Portrayed by Lauren Harris, Sophia Griep, and Audrey Lipsmire Three older girls, about 15 or more. Junior high or high school age. Some dance experience would help.--Portrayed by Nicole Salazar and Jenna Lafferty The girls do not have individual character traits especially. Just typical girls for their age group.
