Knee-Deep Thoughts from our playwrights
Dale Ward
 |
Dale Ward has appeared in two DTC
productions: A Christmas Carol and the second annual One
Act Play Competition last year. He has also appeared on
the big screen in the films Meet Bill, Alice Upside
Down, and The Lucky Ones as well as the television
programs Completing Kaden and On Main Street.
He also produces and directs short films. His day job is
at Concordia Seminary where he is responsible for the video
content on their website and iTunesU. His work has won
awards including 3 regional Emmys and, most recently, a Telly
award for Servants for Jesus' Sake and an Aurora Award
for The Two Sons and Their Crogzookles. He has been
happily married to his beautiful wife Suzanne for 23 years and
has two fantastic sons: Abraham (11) and Elijah (5). |
It was great fun to work together with
Abraham and come up with the characters, the plot twists, dialogue, all
of it--what a blast! It's also nice to have an outlet for
religious writings that otherwise might be limited. That's what
makes Destination Theatre a joy to be a part of--the plays are family
friendly--both to be active in and to come and enjoy. I hope
continued success for DTC where the goal is excellence and that goal is
met!
