Knee-Deep Thoughts from our playwrights
Abraham Ward
| Abraham Ward
is 11 years old and in the sixth grade at LaSalle Middle
School in Wildwood. He really likes acting and
performing. He has done several musicals at school and has had
roles in several short films including the award-winning The Two Sons
and Their Crogzookles. He appeared in Completing Kaden,
a Christian 30-minute drama/comedy that airs on Trinity Broadcast
Network. He is very excited to be a part of this DTC production having
appeared in Charlotte's Web-The Musical, the 2008 One Act
Competition and last summer's A Christmas Carol.
He also plays drums/percussion and gets the privilege to play Sundays
with his dad in the worship team at church. He has a black belt in
Tae-Kwon-Do and loves to write. Oh, and most important, in his own
words, "I LOVE JESUS!" |
The theatre in general has been really fun
for me. By being able to make--and meet--new and old friends.
And also to do the show live instead of video taping it and watching it
later.
It was fun to write our play because I
finally finished one of my own plays--I have never finished one at
all--and I also get to direct it!
