One Act Competition and Dessert Auction

Mark your calendars now for our 2nd Annual One-Act Competition and Dessert Auction.  This year's event will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 7:00pm at West County Assembly of God in Chesterfield.  We are still in the process of finalizing the sections of our one act plays and they will be here on the webpage as soon as they are finalized.  We do know that at least two of the plays will be geared for kids...so everyone can come out to auditions and participate.  

The One-Act Competition is a great way to see if participation in our shows is for you.  The rehearsal process is short (4 weeks as compared to 6 weeks or more for a mainstage show), the tech "week" is really short (only two days this time compared to 8 days for a mainstage show) and the performance time is short (only one evening of performances instead of 3 to 6).  The memorization requirements are typically less than for a mainstage show too so it's an excellent time to see if this production this is for you.

The auditions will be February 21st and 23rd.  We are also looking for a couple people who would be willing to direct a short play for the competition.  If you would like to fill one of those directorial roles, please let us know.
