Destination: Playwriting Deadline
Approaches
For those of you considering submitting a play for the
2008 Destination: Playwriting Contest, don't forget that the
deadline for submission is December 31st. The Destination:
Playwriting Contest is for students and adults in the St. Louis
area. The student division is for students in grades 5 to 12 during
the 2007-2008 school year. The adult division is for anyone over
grade 12 whether or not they are currently enrolled in school. Plays
can be written by one person or a collaboration of two people providing
they both meet the eligibility requirements. In order for a
collaboration work to be entered in the student category, both playwrights
must be in grade 5 through 12. The contest is to write a 10-minute
play. Finalists works will be cast, directed and presented at the
2008 One-Act Competition and Dessert Auction with directorial input from
the playwright(s).
