2007 Year-End Review

Overview

The 2007 year has been the busiest one yet for Destination Theatre Company.  We've had three productions (previous years have had only one), grown both our participant and audience bases and expanded our budget to assist with bringing all of the excitement to you.

Prior to 2007, we had done two mainstage shows total.  In 2007 alone we did three and we are in rehearsals for our next one (Tilly).  [more...]

Prior to 2007, our individual cast sizes had totaled 18.  In 2007, our cast sizes grew dramatically to a total of over 60 people involved in our casts and crews for the year.  A little simple mathematics would show that more than 2/3's of our  2007 cast and crew were in their DTC debut during the year. As with our productions and our people involvement, 2007 was a great year financially for the theatre too. More than 2/3 of our income since our inception (in 2005) has come in the last year.  Of course, with the expanded schedule and casts, more than 2/3 of our expenses have also come in the last year.  It is through the generosity of our audience members, donors, advertisers and sponsors that we are able to continue to bring professional-caliber theatrical productions to the St. Louis area.
