Ticket Agent

The ticket agent(s) of a performance have the following responsibilities.

1) They sell and take reservations for all ticket purchases for the performances.

2) They are hired directly by the business manager or house manager and report directly to the house manager.

3)  They are usually paid hourly and may be a permanent employee of the theater building itself rather than the production company.  In that case, their pay would be a part of the facility rental paid by the production company.
