Business Manager

The Business Manager of a performance has the following responsibilities.

1) They are responsible for everything that happens with the production that is not directly related to what happens on stage.

2)  They oversee the bookkeeping, marketing, house management and the office staff.

3) They are hired directly by the producer and report directly to the producer.  Alternatively, they may be hired and paid by the theatre itself.

4)  They are usually paid by means of a salary.
