Luminist

The luminist(s) of a performance have the following responsibilities.

1) The luminist implements all of the lighting effects for the production as set out by the lighting designer.

2) They are hired by either the director, producer or lighting designer and report directly to the lighting designer.

3)  They are usually paid either hourly or based on a salary.

4)  They are responsible for setting up lights as needed and running the light board for the production..
