Launderer

The launderers of a performance have the following responsibilities.

1) When necessary, between rehearsals and performances, they complete any necessary laundering of the costumes.

2)  On occasion, they may be asked to make minor repairs to costumes.

3) They are hired by either the director or wardrobe master.  They report directly to the wardrobe master.

4)  They are usually paid hourly.  Alternatively, it may be an outside company contracted to do the job for the theatre company.
