Call Boy or Call Girl

The call boys and call girls of a performance have the following responsibilities.

1) They move from back stage to the green rooms and dressing rooms alerting actors and actresses of their entrances.

2)  They assist with scene changes.

3) They are hired by either the director, producer or crew chief.  They report directly to the crew chief.

4)  They are usually paid hourly and will sometimes rotate between several groups from one performance to the next.
