DTC's Board According to Destination Theatre Company's Bylaws, the DTC board varies in size from 3 to 15 members based on the attendance at the previous year's productions.  We currently have 4 board members.  However, if you are interested in live theatre, specifically Destination Theatre Company, and would like to be considered for a future board member position please write and submit a letter of interest and application.  The letter should include: Your name, address, phone number and email address Your primary occupation In what DTC productions have you participated (as cast, crew or audience member) and in what capacities? How did you first learn about DTC? What about DTC made you want to become more involved? Why are you interested in board membership? Of what other non-profit boards are you a member? Once submitted, your letter will be reviewed by the executive board at their next regular or special meeting.  After that meeting, you will be contacted concerning the next step in the process which may include a personal interview with a Board committee or the entire current board. Prospective board members' names are presented to the board as a whole at the next regular annual or special board meeting for election. What we look for in a board member: The majority of our board member live and/or work in the St. Louis metropolitan area. A DTC Board Member must be someone who is interested in live theatre and believes in the mission of Destination Theatre Company. Prospective Board Members should have participated in and/or attended at least three of DTC's previous productions. DTC Board Members are required by the bylaws to attend at least one performance of each of our productions. DTC Board Members are required by the bylaws to donate to the theatre company.  Current policy requires a minimum of $50 per year per board member.
