Auditioning

If you are interested in auditioning for a production with DTC, it is simple.  The audition dates are always included in the pre-audition information for any performance.  There will usually be one or two dates listed for the auditions.  It is not necessary for you to attend both dates in order to be considered for a role.

Concerning preparation.  Unless specifically stated in the information for an individual show, no preparation is required for DTC's auditions.  It is suggested, if possible, that you acquire a copy of the script and become familiar with the characters and the story prior to auditioning but it is not required.

Parent Contract and Evaluation forms, which are required to be filled out for anyone not old enough to provide their own transportation to and from the rehearsals, will be available at the auditions.
